These out-of-town clients were seeking to create an Italian styled villa overlooking Lake Travis and to capture details reminiscent of their extensive travels in Italy. They engaged the nationally recognized team of luxury custom home builders at Zbranek & Holt Custom Homes in Austin to deliver their dream home. The significant slope from street level to the lake on their selected property necessitated an upside down design with walk-out basement that functions as the extensive game room/entertainment zone of the home integrated with an outstanding outdoor living space overlooking the lake. The expansive vista make for exceptional views from this property and the home was designed to capture the stunning views from every possible room. Great care was taken with the design to create a home that combines great function and flow given the size of the home as it relates to the building footprint.
